My Acoustic Music Magazine
I have now completed my Acoustic music magazine. I have now uploaded it to my blog to show what i have achieved in the time given to create my magazine:

I think that overall my outcome was good. For my front cover i used two different coloured fonts, Yellow and white. I thought these colours worked well with the genre of the magazine. I also used the same fonts but in various sizes, the biggest being the most important storyline. When i took the photograph for my front cover i did it a little differently by making the model look down at the guitar. Doing this, i thought it would focus most of the audiences attention on the guitar making them realise this is an acoustic magazine.
For the contents page i had just one big main photograph placed at the top. This is very unusual and not what a typical magazine does. I thought this worked well because its different and it links to my feature article which seeing this photo maybe makes the audience want to read about it and therefore they will deffinatly read my feature article. I also thought that placing various sized numbers next to pieces of information to read about in my magazine was interesting. What i thought didnt work well on my contents page is the way i set out the pieces of information as they were placed to close together making them a little unclearer. For the title of my contents i used the same font as whats on my front cover to link them both together.
For my double page spread feature article i re-used the same two colours which were origionally used on my front cover to link them both together. i thought this worked very well. Also i thought of these colours to link with the genre of my magazine which is acoustic, so it works even better. I used a typical magazine convention of a feature article were when writing the piece of journalism, You enlarge and quote some of the things the artist says which the audience may find interesting. I did this and thought it worked well. I also at the end of my piece of journalism added a box of what another artist had said about my artist i wrote about. Were they gave their very own views on what they thought about her. I found this interesting and thought the audience might be interested in what other artists had to say about her. I thought this also worked well. What i did differently on this page was add more than two photographs. I thought this worked well and made my double page spread more interesting for the audience to read.
